LittleClean2 (an updated version of LittleClean) is a desktop application that lets you execute name changes on multiple files and folders in a folder you select at a time. Its designed such that you can edit the list of files and folders in a non-destructive manner. You can add a string of letters to the beginning or the end of each file name. You can remove an x number of letters from either side. You can replace a string of letters with another. When you finish editing the list, click on the Execute name changes button. And LittleClean2 will execute name changes strictly according to the list.
* Whats new *
1. Undo/Redo name changes as many times as the stack of changes allows.
2. Turn on the checkboxes on the file names so that they will be immune to changes. Changes will be made only to unchecked file names.
3. Its a Cocoa application.
* Features *
1. Add a string of letters to the beginning of or the end of each name. Use the switch control and choose Left (beginning) or Right (end).
2. Remove an x number of letters where x is a number from the beginning or the end of each file name.
3. Replace a string of letters with another on each name.
4. Enumerate file/folder names.
5. Turn on/off checkboxes and tell LittleClean on which file names you want to execute changes. Checked names are immune to name changes.
6. The application records name changes when you select and open a source folder. Click on the Undo button to undo name changes. Click on the Redo button to redo name changes.
7. The application monitors the content of the source folder you select. When one or more files in it goes missing, a status message will appear, asking you to reload the current source folder or to select another.
8. Save the list of new file names as a text file. Send the list to a printer.
9. Language: English only.
10. The application supports the Retina display.
11. The application supports the full screen mode.

* Limitations *
1. The Add string cannot start with a period (.) to make files invisible or contain a colon (:). The same rule applies to the name field for Enumeration.
2. The replacement string cannot start with a period to make files invisible.
3. You cannot use the application to change file extensions.
